The Webby Awards Scam

October 30, 2009 goddesstess 1 comment

The Webby Awards keeps sending me emails asking me to submit our website again this year. “Hurry, the 2009 deadline is October 30th”! Yes, last year we submitted SpellSpace.com. We created a login for the Webby judge to evaluate our website. After months of waiting, we finally got notice that we didn’t win anything.

Nothing, there goes $735 for submission under 2 categories.  Not even a mention about SpellSpace on their website.   Do a search on their website and you get nothing. But, what I find even more unbelievable  is that the Webby Awards judges NEVER accessed our website. The last IP to access and log on to our website under the webby log in was our IP address, back in October 2008.

There you have it. Want to waste your money, then submit your new up-and-coming website to the Webby awards. The only way you will get any recognition from the Webby awards is if you are already popular and known. That way it ensures they get the press they need to scam more Web entrepreneurs.

The Only Good Thing About Matyrs is That They Are Dead

My Dave’s response about Congressman’s Joe Wilson’s moronic and disrespectfully racist outburst at the President’s address to congress.  Yes, people the right are claiming that Wilson is a martyr.  What does it mean about America’s character when the first time our President is heckled he is bi-racial.  This has never happened before and shows the blind racism of Wilson.  http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2009-09-11/send-joe-wilson-home/ Donate to his opponent now, get this mad martyr man out of office.

The Power of Mysticism and Tarot, and Its Abuse

August 24, 2009 goddesstess Leave a comment

On the Internet, over 35 million people in North America* actively seek psychics, but there are plenty of people who abuse this.   http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31704728/ns/local_news-philadelphia_pa/

Too bad, as it is fun sometimes to delve into this mystical world, if it could only be safe.
